Venue for the Checkers, Morabaraba, and Wargames National Team Trials (NTT).

Sebolelo Motlhabi (North West University - Vaal) is a contender for this year's Protea Morabaraba team.
With the Free State delivering 37.9% of the qualifiers for Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA), such National Team Trials for Checkers, Morabaraba, and Wargames is to be held in the Free State.

After determining in which province the event is to be held, the Board Gaming and Wargames representatives then had to determine which club had the most qualifiers.

The club with the most qualifiers would be given first option to host.

By a slightest of majorities, JCS Academy had the most qualifiers.

JCS Academy jumped at the chance to be the first club in the Free State to ever host MSSA's National Team Trials.

Thus the details for MSSA's National Team Trials are:

  • Entrance fee: R64.00 per player
