Busan Port Authority Convention Center
The International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) will hold the 9th e-Sports World Championship 2017, which is the sole international e-sports event where players compete as representing their countries, in Busan, Korea.

Busan is a large port city in South Korea which is known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Busy Haeundae Beach features the Sea Life Aquarium, plus a Folk Square with traditional games such as tug-of-war, while Gwangalli Beach has many bars and views of the 'Diamond Bridge'. Beomeosa Temple, a Buddhist shrine founded in 678 A.D., is at the base of Geumjeong Mountain, which also has hiking trails.

The 9th e-Sports World Championship will be held at the Busan Port Authority Convention Center from November 8th to 12th, 2017.

After the announcement of the official titles, IeSF member national federations will commence their national qualifiers. Players who are selected through national qualifiers will be formally recognized as sports athletes representing each country at the World Championship with endorsement of their government or national sports authority.
